This month, we are thrilled to spotlight our President/COO, Ronnie Wooten. She recently celebrated 18 years with Suntell on September 28. Her favorite part about her position is the variety of responsibilities. Her roles include working with our customers, development team, HR, and accounting. The diversity is challenging and interesting to her.

Ronnie graduated from Ottawa University with degrees in both Accounting and Economics. She worked in the banking industry prior to joining Suntell in several different capacities, including VP of Credit Administration, Internal Auditor, Compliance Auditor, and a three year stint with the Resolution Trust Corporation during the Savings and Loan crisis.

Having spent her early days buried in loan files and pulling daily ticklers from a box full of index cards, Ronnie loves the ease-of use of Doc Tracking. She has learned that it is impossible to please everyone. Every end-user has their personal opinion on how a feature should work. Our job is to find the common ground to please the majority of our customers.

Ronnie and her husband, Les live in Topeka, KS and have three children: Ethan (24), Kennedy (21), and Grace (14). Their home is a bit quieter since their older children no longer live at home, but they continue to fill it with friends, laughter, and their black lab, Buddy. Besides spending time with family and friends, the Wootens spend many hours volunteering and serving their communities. Ronnie volunteers as the Operations Manager for Silverbackks, an all volunteer non-profit that provides services for members of their city that are either homeless or high-risk of homelessness. Additionally, Les and Ronnie serve as volunteer League Directors for the Sunrise Optimist Club t-ball, softball and baseball program.
